Stephanie Rice: Reason No. 87594 why you should watch

Stephanie Rice is my favorite Olympian right now. She's a heckuva swimmer. She completed the troika of gold medals by helping the Australians to an 800-meter relay victory just a while ago.

Oh yeah, and she's smokin' hot. OK, so maybe she's my favorite Olympian because she's a total head-turner. Apparently, I'm not the only one who thinks so. Her looks have got her a lot of attention on Facebook.

Gymnastics and age

Simple visual proof.

There's no way three, likely four of these girls are older than 16 years.

It's been reported before the Olympic Games that the girls named to the Chinese national team were 13- or 14-years-old. Check out this comparison between the Americans and Chinese.

In gymnastics, the younger and less developed the gymnasts, the better their advantage because of less weight for routines.

And maybe because they are young, they didn't know any better to feel the pressure of winning the gold?

Unfortunately for our Americans, they did, especially Alicia Sacramone. At 20, she was the aged one of Tuesday night's two-team battle for the gold. But she "choked" in her balance beam and floor routine and cost her team valuable points. China, on the other hand, was nearly flawless on its path to winning the gold

It's a good thing Sacramone is hot or she'd be chastised this week.
