The "Four Downs" bickering segment between ESPN's Sean Salisbury and John Clayton may have finally reached a low blow.
We're used to these "debates" dwindling into gripe sessions and personal attacks. The most common is Clayton taking shots at Salisbury for riding the bench his entire career or Salisbury poking fun of Clayton for never playing the game, but we've got fireworks today.
Instead of poking holes in Clayton's argument, Salisbury pokes fun of him, calling Clayton the "crypt keeper" and said "Tales From the Crypt."
Yikes! Is there a resemblence? At the risk of sounding mean, I see what Salisbury is getting at. But it's downright mean. And a very classless act to pull on national TV.
