Our NFL Combine coverage

I've been granted access to the 2008 NFL Combine, which runs Feb. 20-26. I'll be in Indianapolis covering the event for my newspaper. I've been fully credentialed, meaning I'll have access to NFL coaches, executives, and the college players invited to the event.

My priority is to complete my work for the full-time gig, since it pays the bills and it's how I was able to gain access. But there will be all sorts of great information I won't use in my stories simply because there's so much going on. That's where this blog comes in.

I will create at least two entries a day regarding news coming out of the NFL Combine. Whether it's a coach making staff changes, a player running an eye-popping 40, or Mike Lupica getting beat up in the media workroom, I'll let you know.

Stay tuned... and I'll remind ya'll as we draw closer to the event.
