Name those Yankees

The Mitchell Report will be released today at 2 p.m. Stories say several prominent NY Yankees will be named in the report. Sixty to 80 names of former or current MLB players are on Mitchell's list, all linked to steroids or performance-enhancing drugs. Apparently, MLB is not going to like this - the Commish, the Union, the owners, the players.

This is the blogosphere, so we can speculate wildly about what Yankees are on the list:

1) Jason Giambi - You know.
2) Roger Clemens - There's no way a man gets better with age when that age is 38+. It was just reported on Mike and Mike that Clemens' trainer has been linked to steroids and that Fatty is on the list.
3) Andy Pettitte - See above. Just not as old.
4) Bobby Abreu - Hit around 25-30 HRs a year, then over two years ago just stopped hitting them. Strange because that's when MLB decided to test for 'roids and performance enhancers.

Other guys we think will be on the list:
Brady Anderson, Mo Vaughn, Pudge Rodriguez, Barry Bonds, Mark McGwire, Sammy Sosa, Jose Guillen, Jay Payton, Larry Walker, Jeff Bagwell, Albert Belle, Juan Gonzalez, Ken Caminiti, Rafael Palmeiro, Jason Grimsley, Eric Gagne

UPDATE: We found a list over at Baseball's Steroid Era blog. It's nothing confirmed, of course, from the Mitchell list but does have admitted users, implicated players, and those who've tested positive. Each has reasons to support.

If they name Ken Caminiti, I won't pay attention.

I'll know they just cut and pasted Roger Clemens' Christmas card list.
